Gwyneth Cravens: Power To Save the World, the Truth about Nuclear Energy

Gwyneth Cravens In the wake of the still escalating nuclear disaster in Japan it would be easy to find anti nuclear activists calling for the need to stop production and permitting of nuclear plants. While that may be needed, we'll hear from a former nuclear opponent turned advocate and hear why she is not overly concerned about the fallout from this catastrophe. Gwyneth Cravens is the author of Power To Save the World, The Truth About Nuclear Energy (2007). She explains why the events of the past week have not changed her view that nuclear power is needed to meet energy demands and avoid further climate change, despite mounting safety concerns.
